The History Lesson:
George Hoff and Kevin Swan both grew up in the harsh winter wilderness of Northeast Ohio. While they played some music together in their formative years, their paths diverged for two decades. A few years ago, they found themselves reunited and have rekindled their joy and passion for classic American popular music.
While playing together in a progressive rock band, they discovered that each, over the years, had devoloped a second shared passion: Fly fishing. While on the surface there may seem little in common with the two pursuits, consider this:
The time-honored ethic of fly fishing is one of "catch and release." As the fly fishing master and conservationist Lee Wulff said in 1939, "A good game fish is too valuable to be caught only once." We catch our fish, then release it back to the waters to live on, experiencing for just a moment that unique connection between two disparate worlds. (In so doing we also share with our fellow anglers the joy of a still-living and consequently more wise fish.)
So it is with our music. Most great music works to ensnare us emotionally, building on major and minor chords a tension of melody, only to release us back to our lives, enriched. Have a listen. See what you think, and please let us know your experience.

...and Release.
